Hi,
I am new to MySQL and evaluating clustering MySQL solutions. Based on the articles available on the internet, I found that MySQL NDB clustering is best open source solution in terms of availability and performance. But I am a little worried about the number of nodes required to setup MySQL NDB Cluster. Looks like it requires minimum four nodes.
We have been provided only two nodes for the cluster setup. And I would like to know if there is a possibility to setup MySQL NDB Cluster using only two nodes? say each node running Data + Application + Management software?
What are the cons of this kind of setup on production environment?
Many Thanks,
Pratik
